This project was about experimenting with alternate applications of 3D modeling filament. I created a one-forth-scale CNC-cut rocking chair and developed a method of attaching the filament by feeding it through drilled holes, then melting the ends and pressing them flat to prevent the filament from slipping out. A balsa wood veneer was applied to hide the melted plastic, and gray suede was used to create the seat and removeable pillow.
